**Title**:
AFCAP V UAE: IT Systems Administrator

**_ This position is full time, based in the UAE, and will require the employee to travel to all AFCAP V project locations in various countries._**

***:Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the administration of computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.
- Maintain, install, upgrade, and configure data systems and Audio/Video devices.
- Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.
- Analyzing problems and develop possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
- Assist customers with various IT related issues including software, hardware, and connectivity.
- Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner.
- At times perform tasks outside of IT to ensure the mission is successful.

**Basic Job Qualifications**:

- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; additional higher education, technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
- Requires at least 3 years of directly related IT experience.
- Requires knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media, i.e. fiber, copper, satellite, and Wi-Fi.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills which enable to effectively liaise with clients, other departments within the organization, subcontractors, and clients, and report directly to the Senior Management.

**Physical Activities**:

- Physical requirements include lifting to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
- Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection,
- Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
- Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a US Passport with minimum one year availability.
- Must be capable of meeting/maintaining deployment medical and dental requirements.
- Must have at least one year of prior experience working overseas.
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance or must be able to acquire a Secret Clearance.
