**Job Summary**:
You will be responsible for the Data and Analytics function of the bank that drives key data functions as well as the utilization of Artificial Intelligence to provide decision makers with an additional layer of informative decision tools, you are responsible for constantly scanning the market and competitors’ capabilities and opportunities, bringing in proven technology and implementing them across the group. Oversight of Data Service Level agreements and data resiliency across multiple geographical regions is essential, whilst complying with each respective regional regulation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define data and analytics vision, strategy and associated practices. Lead the creation (and assure the ongoing relevance) of the organization’s data and analytics strategy in collaboration with the ITD, Compliance, Risk.
- Identify internal and external stakeholders and their goals. Organize, formalize and prioritize stakeholders and their wants and needs.
- Participate in the development, execution and maintenance of the Data strategy aligned to the overall corporate strategy, group long-term goals and assist in the prioritization process.
- Assist in the overall and annual Data business planning with the view of achieving the Group’s short-term goals and submit periodic reviews.
- Periodically reviews and updates Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.
- Collaborates with other departments (e.g., Risk Management, Internal Audit, Employee Services, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
- Implement Performance Management/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes for the Data staff and monitor their achievement on periodic basis.
- Connect with stakeholders to identify unmet needs that expose new opportunities, and to redesign business processes and interactions as part of the data analytics transformation.
- Provide inputs to the Data Technology Key Risk indicators (KRIs) which shall be applicable across the Group to manage Group’s exposure to Data related risks effectively.
- Manage the Data internal primary Risk identification, Mitigation and reporting activities in sync with Group Risk and Internal Audit framework.
- Lead IT market research and provide applicable suggestions to further the Group’s strategy and develop cost / benefit analysis to alternative technologies and processes.
- Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the budget process including: review of service area business plans and key performance indicators; annual capital budget and forecasts that include available and appropriate funding sources along with required project justification analysis; operating budget and forecast submissions that adhere to direction set by bank.
- Liaise with all Business Units Heads for preparing the yearly Data Business Plans, Prepare monthly and quarterly update on Data Business Plan. Monitor the Progress Status and raise issues / risks.
- Achieve a reduction in the frequency and duration of Incidents that impact on Data Availability to support business processes that rely on Data infrastructure.
- Develop policies, procedures and standards for continual improvement in delivering Data projects and services.
- Ensure proper reporting of the Group Data performance and SLA target achievements to the top management and conduct Management Committee meetings as per the TOR.
- Supervise and coordinate the Data governance activities at the international branches/subsidiaries.

**Job Requirements**
- University graduate preferably with a Major in in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or related quantitative field. Masters preferred.
- Academic qualification or professional training and experience in legal and regulatory areas are also desirable.
- At least 18 years of relevant experience, ideally in business management, legal, financial or information or IT management — recently at or near the executive level.
