**JOB PURPOSE**:
Supervise and perform maintenance of Electrical equipment in the Plant to ensure equipment availability, reliability and integrity.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Ensure availability of required resources for Electrical equipment maintenance execution and schedule expectations to complete the job safely and in time.
- Plan, schedule, execute and supervise the Preventive/Predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure reliability, availability and safe operations.
- Inspect / follow up tasks progress and provide report to ensure timely and quality job execution.
- Ensure that maintenance records, fault reports, logbooks, are kept up-to-date. Update refurbished equipment database and history for the equipment and their accessories to ensure effective equipment keeping.
- Authorize the issuance of electrical isolation certificates/ various maintenance work permits to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain Electrical equipment in line with HSECES guidelines and ensure compliance to MAT requirements.
- Participate and conduct daily /weekly safety toolbox talks to discuss on safety and methods of completing job tasks.
- Supervise the testing and commissioning of new or modified equipment or systems, ensuring that repairs/ installations conform to correct methods and safety procedures.
- Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major overhaul maintenance activities.
- Follow the guidelines mentioned in Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) Electrical Safety Procedures(ESP) to ensure safe handling of all fixed and portable electrical equipment at facility.
- Monitor availability of tools, equipment, and parts for scheduled jobs to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare list of spares, tools and materials required for the maintenance jobs and coordinate with supervisor for Purchase/Material requisitions. Inspect new materials' specifications to meet specifications and suitability.

**QUALIFICATIONS. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- 5 years of experience as a supervisory role for electrical maintenance activities within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge and experience on hazardous area classification and installation and maintenance of Ex-proof electrical equipment in Oil & Gas industries.
- Exposure in operational, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities.
- Sound knowledge about high, medium and low voltage systems, electrical equipment and shutdown activities.
- Good understanding about plant start-up and commissioning activities.
- Good knowledge about electrical safety requirements and HSE procedures & practices.
- Planning and Organising, Scheduling and Coordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supervisor (electrical maintenance activities in O&G): 5 years (preferred)
- plant start-up and commissioning activities: 5 years (preferred)
