- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to standard recipes, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, always adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes or modifications to existing ones.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, continuously striving to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
- Requirements: Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and delegate tasks.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UAE food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
