**Job Title: Shawarma MakerJob Summary**:
The Shawarma Maker is responsible for preparing, cooking, and assembling shawarma dishes. This includes marinating the meat, operating the rotisserie, slicing the meat, and assembling the shawarma with various toppings and sauces in pita bread, wraps, or plates. The Shawarma Maker ensures that each dish meets quality standards and is prepared promptly to serve customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Meat Preparation**:

- Marinate meats such as chicken, beef, or lamb with the appropriate blend of spices and herbs, ensuring the meat is flavorful and tender.
- Skewer and stack the marinated meat on the vertical rotisserie (shawarma spit) for slow roasting.
- Monitor the cooking process to ensure the meat is cooked evenly and to the correct internal temperature.
- **Cooking and Slicing**:

- Operate the shawarma rotisserie, adjusting heat settings as needed to ensure even cooking.
- Slice thin layers of meat from the rotating spit as it cooks, ensuring that the meat is tender and juicy.
- Keep the rotisserie area clean and well-maintained throughout the day.
- **Assembly**:

- Assemble shawarma sandwiches, wraps, or plates by layering the sliced meat with a variety of toppings, such as fresh vegetables, pickles, and sauces (like tahini, garlic sauce, or hummus).
- Ensure that each shawarma is prepared according to the customer's order, accommodating special requests or dietary preferences.
- Portion ingredients accurately to maintain consistency and control costs.
- **Customer Service**:

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking their orders and answering any questions about the menu.
- Provide suggestions for toppings or combinations to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure that orders are prepared quickly and efficiently, especially during peak hours.
- **Quality Control**:

- Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary to maintain the desired flavor profile of the shawarma.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients, ensuring that only high-quality products are used.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Keep track of inventory levels for meat, spices, vegetables, and other ingredients, and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Ensure that all ingredients are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- **Kitchen Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the rotisserie area, prep stations, and storage areas.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils used in the preparation of shawarma, following proper food safety protocols.
- Dispose of waste and used materials in accordance with local health regulations.
- **Other Duties**:

- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as preparing side dishes, sauces, or other menu items.
- Help train new staff members on the proper techniques for making shawarma.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; culinary training or experience in Middle Eastern cuisine is an advantage.
- **Experience**: Previous experience working as a Shawarma Maker or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of Middle Eastern spices, marinades, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain a vertical rotisserie.
- Strong knife skills and ability to slice meat thinly and evenly.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills, especially during busy periods.

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
