WSP in the Middle East is currently looking for an experienced Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer with a specialized background in healthcare to join our team in the UAE.

**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Lead the electrical design process for healthcare projects from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and healthcare specialists, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet client requirements and project objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate the smooth execution of projects and obtain necessary approvals.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to oversee the implementation of electrical designs and resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction.
- Develop comprehensive electrical designs for healthcare facilities, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and medical equipment integration.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit studies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
- Utilize industry-leading software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and ETAP, to produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Conduct thorough reviews of design documents and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the design process to mitigate risks and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technology and healthcare industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 12_+ of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Proven track record of successfully leading electrical design efforts for complex projects, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- In-depth knowledge of international standards and regulations governing electrical systems in healthcare facilities, such as NFPA 99, IEC 60364, and NEC.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
