Position Overview

As a Pastry Chef at MeatClub, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-end, innovative desserts and baked goods that align with our refined menu. This role requires a strong understanding of classical and modern pastry techniques, with the ability to adapt to the seasonal availability of ingredients and guest preferences.

Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create seasonal dessert menus that complement the steakhouse’s overall culinary theme, ensuring balance, elegance, and creativity in every dish.
- Preparation & Production: Lead the daily preparation of all pastries, desserts, and bread, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and quality are consistently met.
- Ingredient Management: Source and select the finest ingredients, keeping in mind quality, sustainability, and seasonality. Manage inventory, placing orders as needed and maintaining cost controls.
- Quality Control: Oversee the presentation and consistency of all pastries, ensuring each dish is visually appealing and of the highest standard.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor pastry kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and hygiene standards are upheld. Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that encourages creativity and growth.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other kitchen teams, including savoury chefs, to ensure smooth coordination during service and maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance**: Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace safety procedures.

**Experience and Qualifications**

At least 8 years experience as a Chef within luxury dining venues.

Creative flair in presentation of dishes. We are a high end steakhouse so experience cooking steaks is compulsory.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Hospitality Supervisor/Assistant Manager or similar position
- Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
- Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude

A valid IELTS qualification in Speaking-Listening-Reading-Writing at score 4.0 or above. Without this you will not be eligible. (General Training UKVI)

At least 3 years experience in a team leading within the Hospitality sector.
