**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the STEAM DT teacher and other primary class teachers to ensure a seamless integration of the computing curriculum with ongoing projects.
- Plan and facilitate engaging two-week residencies in the STEAM centre, tailored to maximise student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Deliver instruction in a variety of computing disciplines, including coding, robotics, 3D printing, CAD and lead engaging ECAs such as Lego League.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners and encourage creativity and problem-solving.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, guiding them towards achieving a high-standard final product.
- Continuously update the curriculum to include the latest trends and advancements in STEAM education and computing technology.
- Engage with the broader school community to showcase the importance and achievements of the STEAM centre.

**About you**:
We seek to appoint an outstanding **Primary STEAM Computing Teacher **to join our team in **August 2024 **start.

- A track record of effective collaboration and positive relationship building with colleagues.
- A flexible approach to the planning and delivery of the curriculum to accommodate various projects and student needs.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in coding, robotics, 3D printing, CAD and other computing technologies relevant to primary education.
- An innovative and creative approach to teaching that integrates design thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and well-qualified holding as a minimum, a B.Ed. or a B.A & PGCE and QTS.
