Fixed Asset Coordinator

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the same field.

Previous work experience in government entity is an advantage.
- Register new fixed assets.
- Update asset register when assets are distributed or returned.
- Coordinate asset register updates with Finance.

Asset storage
- Arrange placement of fixed assets (new or returned to stores after use) in stores.
- Update stores register and asset register.
- Monitor stores (placement, fixtures, racks and cleanliness of stores).
- Inspect stores periodically to ensure that stored items are secured and undamaged.
- Monitor storekeeper’s work to ensure that items are stored correctly.
- Supervise the work of contractors who are hired to relocate assets to stores.

Asset relocation
- Respond to service requests for relocation.
- Arrange contractors to relocate assets.
- Coordinate asset relocation with IT.
- Monitor contractors to ensure that relocation does not damage assets.

Asset inventory
- Carry out asset inventory in coordination with Finance (fixed assets and consumables).
- Escalate discrepancies to General Services Manager.

Consumables
- Arrange delivery of stock refills.
- Check office stores daily to monitor stock items and work of storekeepers.
- Monitor office boy delivery of consumables to End Users.
- Arrange samples of new consumable items with General Services Manager.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
