**Job description**

An Electronics trading and perfume manufacturing company is looking for a qualified professional to join the team.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Manage the logistics operations and coordinate transportation activities
- Monitor the movement of goods and ensure they are delivered on time
- Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers, carriers and customers
- Handle all shipment clearance and documentation
- Handle the entire job requirements for import and export shipments
- Liaise with UAE Customs & port authorities
- Liaise with all customers, suppliers, government agencies, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, etc. as required to prepare and process shipment clearances
- Plan and track the shipment of products according to customer/supplier requirements
- Assess and resolve issues relating to transportation, import and export, and logistics systems.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logistics data for daily, weekly, and quarterly reports
- Analyze the financial impact of logístical processes and proposed changes to determine maximum efficiency in terms of routing, transportation modes, and resources while continuing to meet customer requirements
- Ensure carriers, shipping and receiving personnel, and other logístical areas comply with safety standards and legal requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline but Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field is preferable.
- Minimum total 5 years and 3 years UAE experience in the same role in the Perfume & Electronics industry.
- Excellent knowledge of laws, regulations, documentation requirements and procedures with relevant government authorities for moving chemical products
- Good in English, Hindi & Arabic - communication & correspondence
- Well versed in customs documentation / clearances through E-MIRSAL
- Expected to have and continue to build a good understanding of all relevant customs related laws, import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Able to join immediately

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: AED 3,000.00 - AED 5,000.00 per month
