**Scope and General Purpose of Job**:
Manage the smooth and effective operation of the Hotel at night to ensure profitability through proper coordination, organization, implementation and control.

Liaise and coordinate with all departments of the hotel to ensure total guest satisfaction in accordance with Radisson standards.

Represent the management in resolving guest concerns to the best interest of the hotel.

Be efficient and diplomatic in dealing with situations involving any aspect of the hotel where its reputation or image represented.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**PRIMARY DUTIES**:
**Financial**

1. Strictly adhere to the established financial guidelines and control all costs.

2. Review room rates of all in-house guests prior to room charge posting. Ensure that every rate is correct with proper rate code. Maintain control over rate changes.

3. Ensure that all rate codes with “0” rate are supported with duly approved document.

4. Ensure that all financial corrections and adjustments in guest folios done at all FO revenue sections are monitored, supervised and controlled.

5. Ensure that all in-coming guests post the required deposit; and, guests in-house have sufficient deposit to cover for their estimated total charges upon departure.

6. Liaise with Reception/Front Office cashiers on the settlement of all outstanding bills for departing guests.

7. Occasionally handle cash, perform currency change and balance an assigned house bank, when temporarily relieving for Reception/Front Office cashiers.

8. Accept and record vouchers, traveler’s cheques, and other forms of payment. Count cash and other methods of payment at the end of the shift to verify and balance housebank.

9. Ensure that the hotel credit policies are adhered to at all times.

10. Ensure that the team members’ and one’s cash report is balanced and closed at the end of the shift with the remittance envelops dropped in the cash vault.

11. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manger

**Operational**

1. Ensure through effective supervision that all services provided in all areas of the hotel are always available and are carried out efficiently as per Departmental Operations Manual.

2. Monitor responsible use of all available systems and equipment in the hotel including PMS(Property Management System),credit card machine, key system, etc.

3. Take endorsement from previous shift, follow up on all outstanding matters and ensure the delivery/completion of service. Conduct daily shift briefings and ensure that all operational requirements are attended to.

4. Ensure that daily financial reports prepared during night (day-end) are accurate and submitted consistently on time to respective executive members.

5. All reports required by all departments are printed/consistently distributed on time.

6. Daily Competitors Performance report, in relation to daily statistics, are monitored and accurately recorded.

7. Act in the best interests of the Hotel during the absence of Executive Committee Members and Department Heads. Handle all guest comments or complaints relating to all Departments and take necessary action. Endorse the next morning to concerned Department any situation encountered during the shift, either for information or follow-through.

8. Conduct a complete facility inspection of the entire hotel at least once during shift.

9. Coordinate and ensure the maintenance of an atmosphere of tranquility in all areas of the hotel, never giving the impression that there is a problem.

10. Ensure that all incoming reservations for the day match the necessary accommodation.

11. Constantly check reservations to ensure room availability and special blockings are handled correctly. On overbooking situation, facilitate the reservation of alternate hotel, supervise guest transfer, and make rational decisions best for the hotel.

12. Communicate with other departments to ensure proper handling of guests and groups. Ensure reservation requests for suites and other special accommodations are met when possible.

13. Conduct regular inspection of rooms and of the entire hotel and liaise with the housekeeping department on deviation from standard set-ups. Ensure that public areas are clean and up to standards.

14. Be on hand to meet and escort all arriving VIPs ensuring that their needs are satisfied, their luggage are swiftly sent to their rooms, and that they are checked in a courteous and efficient manner with no delay. Give a complete introduction of the hotel and its facilities, pointing out fire evacuation routes.

15. Ensure proper completion of all local government requirements concerning hotel guests (i.e. securing/scanning of acceptable document from guests and forwarding the same to CID/Police through established electronic method).

16. Ensure the strict control of room keys. Supervise the key handling procedures for maximum security.
