A Financial Controller is responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. A Financial Controller may also be responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
- Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
- Forecasting future financial performance
- Preparing and analyzing budgets
- Providing accurate financial reports to management
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop budgets for the business on a quarterly basis.
- Monitor actual performance versus budget and report variances to management.
- Work within the general framework of a company's overall accounting and reporting system and make sure that all relevant information is available for management use in running the business.
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Finance in UAE.
- Sound knowledge and Experience in Finance, Audit and Taxation.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
