**Key Responsibilities**:
**Menu Development**:

- Innovate and create new salads and sandwiches for the menu, keeping up with current food trends and customer preferences.
- Regularly update and refine existing menu items to maintain variety and interest.

**Production Management**:

- Oversee the daily preparation and production of salads and sandwiches in the Dubai kitchen and occasionally in the RAK central kitchen.
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and taste across all items produced.

**Staff Training and Management**:

- Train kitchen staff on proper preparation techniques, presentation, and hygiene standards.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient workflow and high productivity.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff for improvement.

**Quality Control**:

- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all dishes meet our stringent quality criteria.

**Operational Efficiency**:

- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality ingredients at the best possible prices.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive kitchen environment.
- Coordinate with the management team for menu planning, special events, and promotions.

**Travel**:

- Travel to the RAK central kitchen as required by management to oversee production and ensure consistency between locations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen or hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to create innovative and appealing menu items.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent organizational and delegation skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to travel to RAK central kitchen as needed.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
