- Seaman's Book (preferred);
- Minimum 5 years experience as Coating Inspector.
Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports.
- Control of storage and certification of consumables.
- Performs qualifications of coating processes.
- Checks surface preparation.
- Checks and records atmospheric conditions prior to starting painting operations.
- Carries out wet and dry film thickness checks.
- Monitors observations of the correct coding cycles.
- Verifies the correct colour-coding and painting.
- Performs visual inspections.
- Performs adhesion testing.
- Performs penetration testing.
- Evaluate impact testing.
- Performs visual checks after blasting.
Qualifications:

- Current offshore BOSIET / Survival Certificate (preferred);
- NACE 2 or BGAS 2/ FROSIO accreditation;
- Familiar with codes ANSI, SSPC, ASTM, NACE, AWWA, ISO, AS etc.
- Seaman's Book (preferred);
- Minimum 5 years experience as Coating Inspector.
- A valid eyesight certificate from a doctor or an optician showing satisfactory eyesight for near vision, permitting reading a minimum of Times Roman N5, or equivalent type and size letters, at not less than 300mm on a standard test chart for near vision, in at least one eye, corrected or uncorrected.

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:

- Steel Structure Fabrication: 5 years (required)
- codes ANSI, SSPC, ASTM, NACE, AWWA, ISO, AS: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English. Urdu, Hindi (preferred)
License/Certification:

- NACE Level II coating inspector or TWI/BGAS 2 (required)
