**What you will do**
The Solutions Manager - Sustainability is a key role to be based in Dubai and you will be a part of the Sustainability ESCO team being one of the JCI growth vectors.
As a Solutions Manager, you will be responsible in managing the ESCO engineering department to deliver reliable, energy efficient solutions. You will drive processes, energy solutions roadmaps, and provide strategic direction to ESCO engineering team. You are responsible to identify the client needs, lead the team in designing tailored solutions that are compliant with the latest industry and regulatory standards ensuring project feasibility. The role requires leadership to manage engineering team, solutions development, process enhancement, functional and technical competencies improvement and overall customer focused activities. This role provides the opportunity to work with other lines of business to prioritize, track and execute JCI sustainability strategy.
**How you will do it**
As an experienced Solutions Manager - Sustainability, you will use your knowledge of building’s mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC and Controls) to design and build the retrofit works required to deliver energy efficient and decarbonized buildings. You are responsible to showcase the reliability of the designed energy solutions and support the relevant team during the execution phase.
As a solutions manager you will drive energy solutions that results in added value to JCI customers in sustainability space coupled with life cycle approach driving JCI attached rates. You will work closely with ESCO sales team to provide the necessary technical competencies to tailor energy solutions that are cost effective and brings value to JCI customers. You will use you strong networking, communication skills to leverage JCI offerings that leads to sustainable space to JCI customers.
**What we look for**
**Required**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering - Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics.
- Proven work experience as an Engineering/Technical manager or similar role.
- Certified CEM, LEED professional is a must.
- 8+ years’ experience in building technology systems including and not limited to HVAC, BMS, etc. (Energy Solutions preferred)
- Leading Energy projects that involve future additions, retrofit, design improvement and assets life cycle to reduce /optimize energy consumption.
- Designs, implements and lead teams in the development of buildings solutions in sustainability space.
- Drives the team and ensures the high-performance culture through strategic initiatives (functional, technical competencies, performance management, talent management, process improvement)
- Proficient in financial analysis, project budgets, and engages in cost management strategies.
- Must be able to Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders from the customer end.
- Manages interactions with suppliers and consultants to assure solutions comply with designs and specifications.
- Proficient in industry standards such as ASHRAE, IEEE, AHRI, and Municipality Codes
**Preferred**
- Recent/past experience in energy solutions for HVAC and Controls.
- Proven track record of conducting Site audits.
- Understanding of contracts and ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
- Understanding of service and life cycle methods.
- IPMV professional certification
