**Who are we recruiting for?**

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to lead the downstream LNG and natural gas project developments and play a pivotal role in driving our clients strategic initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our client in emerging markets across the Middle East and Africa regions.

**What will you be doing?**
- Leading strategic initiatives to expand business development mainly within the gas-to-power sector.
- Cultivating and sustaining relationships with industry experts, regulatory authorities, and clients.
- Identifying, strategising, and developing suitable projects and clients for our company through opportunity and market analysis, client and partner engagements, and contract negotiations.
- Managing responses to competitive tenders, driving bidding strategy, project tracking, and overseeing the preparation of relevant contracts.
- Developing clear and concise presentation materials for senior management to communicate project designs, costs, and economics.
- Initiating and progressing project origination discussions with potential counterparties globally.
- Analysing project-specific requirements and working with the technical team to create specific solutions.
- Developing project economic analyses, internal approval requests, formal proposals, and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Overseeing contract execution and managing the construction phase of projects from start to commissioning and turnover to Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Proven track record within the gas-to-power sector preferred.
- At least 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within LNG downstream and gas to power projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or French is advantageous.
- Knowledge and in-depth understanding of the oil, gas, and energy markets industry trends in the Middle East & Africa.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and experience navigating government processes within the oil, gas, and energy sectors.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks in the MEA region.
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.
