Consultant Urologist

One of the hightech healthcare facilities is the regions biggest private referral hospital offering effective medical care in a professional and caring environment is looking for Consultant Urologist.

As a Consultant Urologist you will specialize in the diagnosis treatment and management of disorders affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. You will provide comprehensive urological care to patients utilizing a combination of medical surgical and minimally invasive techniques. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes promoting urological health and advancing the field of urology within our institution.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with urological complaints including urinary tract infections kidney stones urinary incontinence erectile dysfunction and prostate disorders.
  
• Perform diagnostic procedures including urinalysis urodynamic testing cystoscopy ultrasound and imaging studies to assess urological conditions and formulate treatment plans.
  
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each patient incorporating medical therapy lifestyle modifications and surgical interventions as appropriate.
  
• Perform surgical procedures to treat urological conditions such as prostatectomy nephrectomy cystectomy ureteroscopy and vasectomy utilizing the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
  
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding urological conditions treatment options risks and benefits ensuring informed decisionmaking and optimal patient outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists radiologists pathologists and primary care physicians to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex urological conditions such as urological cancers.
  
• Participate in oncall coverage schedules to provide timely evaluation and management of urological emergencies such as urinary retention testicular torsion and genitourinary trauma.
  
• Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities to advance the understanding and treatment of urological disorders contributing to the academic mission of the institution.
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters treatment plans and outcomes in electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
  
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of urological care optimize patient safety and improve patient satisfaction.

RequirementsExperience From US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland (CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC) And Other European Countries According to The Qualification Equivalence Tables of the UAE MOH
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a hospital environment Western and Asian countries experience is preferred. Asians with Gulf experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Fluency in written and spoken English
MOH registered Preferred
Ability to multitask prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Willing to work flexible hours as and when required

Languages English Arabic Preferred
