As a Consultant Urologist you willspecialize in the diagnosis treatment and management of disordersaffecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. You willprovide comprehensive urological care to patients utilizing acombination of medical surgical and minimally invasive techniques.Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomespromoting urological health and advancing the field of urologywithin ourinstitution.
- Conductcomprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with urologicalcomplaints including urinary tract infections kidney stones urinaryincontinence erectile dysfunction and prostatedisorders.
- Performdiagnostic procedures including urinalysis urodynamic testingcystoscopy ultrasound and imaging studies to assess urologicalconditions and formulate treatmentplans.
- Developand implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the specificneeds and preferences of each patient incorporating medical therapylifestyle modifications and surgical interventions asappropriate.
- Performsurgical procedures to treat urological conditions such asprostatectomy nephrectomy cystectomy ureteroscopy and vasectomyutilizing the latest surgical techniques andtechnologies.
- Providecounseling and education to patients and their families regardingurological conditions treatment options risks and benefits ensuringinformed decisionmaking and optimal patientoutcomes.
- Collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams including oncologists radiologistspathologists and primary care physicians to coordinatecomprehensive care for patients with complex urological conditionssuch as urologicalcancers.
- Participatein oncall coverage schedules to provide timely evaluation andmanagement of urological emergencies such as urinary retentiontesticular torsion and genitourinarytrauma.
- Engagein clinical research and scholarly activities to advance theunderstanding and treatment of urological disorders contributing tothe academic mission of theinstitution.
- Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient encounters treatmentplans and outcomes in electronic medical records in compliance withregulatory requirements and institutionalpolicies.
- Participatein quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery ofurological care optimize patient safety and improve patientsatisfaction.
RequirementsExperienceFrom US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland(CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC)And Other European Countries According to The QualificationEquivalence Tables of the UAEMOH
Minimum 2 to 3 yearsexperience in a hospital environment Western and Asian countriesexperience is preferred. Asians with Gulf experience ispreferred.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office suite
Fluencyin written and spokenEnglish
MOH registeredPreferred
Ability to multitaskprioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
