  • Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients based on services rendered
  • Ensure that all billing information is correct and in compliance with company policies
  • Monitor and track outstanding payments and follow-up with clients to ensure timely payments
  • Enter and update billing data into accounting software system
  • Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues that may arise
  • Maintain and update client billing records and files
  • Provide regular reports on billing process and financial data to management
  • Assist in developing and documenting billing procedures and policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and resolve any outstanding issues

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 1 year of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a professional services setting
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
