ADNOC Schools is currently seeking high-performing Elementary Coordinator for August 2025 start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School – Elementary Campus, Sas Al Nakhl in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Support middle/senior leaders in promoting and developing a vision for the future of the school; demonstrating inspirational leadership and creativity.
  2. Play a significant role in the school improvement planning process, taking account of the agreed priorities of the school, and reflecting specifically on personal areas of responsibility.
  3. Contribute to the identification of key areas of strength and weakness in the school with detailed reflection on day to day working knowledge of the school's policies and practices.
  4. Develop and enhance a culture of teamwork, in which views of members of the school community are valued and taken into account.
  5. Contribute to the self-evaluation of the school.
  6. Maintain a high profile as an example of best and leading practice within the classroom and foster the high expectations to which the school aspires.
  7. Lead, develop and monitor whole school assessment in conjunction with middle/senior colleagues.
  8. Carry out regular Teaching & Learning reviews to include, lesson observations, work/mark book scrutiny, learning walks, and progress/attainment scrutiny.
  9. Share responsibility for the analysis of key school performance data, to ensure priorities are appropriate and improvement in standards is promoted.
  10. Oversee the development of effective timetabling, which meets and responds to the needs of students within the statutory frameworks and the resources available.
  11. Coach and develop staff to maximize impact on effective teaching and learning.
  12. Through liaison and guidance, work closely with curriculum leaders to ensure the best learning opportunities for children.
  13. Include students to further enhance their learning opportunities and personal development.
  14. Support the target-setting process, including statutory procedures and targets for individuals and groups throughout the school.
  15. Implement strategies to promote high standards of behavior.
  16. Seek to develop and enhance a broad and rich curriculum that meets the needs of the range of students in the school.
  17. Monitor and evaluate outcomes achieved from classroom practice.
  18. Take a leading role in the development of quality and manageable assessment practice throughout the school.
  19. Lead development of a core subject throughout the school to ensure high-quality teaching which supports high standards.
  20. Demonstrate a commitment to positive behavior management throughout the school acting as a restorative practice facilitator.
  21. Contribute to the creation of a positive school ethos, in which every individual is treated with dignity and respect, and promote safeguarding to ensure the welfare of children and young people is paramount.
  22. Make a distinctive contribution to the wider school team and continued development to aid transition through the phases.
  23. Contribute to the development of collaborative approaches to learning within the school and beyond.
  24. Work in collaboration with the High School Coordinator to aid the transition from Cycle 1 to Cycle 2.
  25. Monitor the effectiveness of colleagues' teaching and wider professional impact in line with the performance management policy and procedures.
  26. Support the recruitment, induction, and retention process for all new staff.
  27. Lead, manage and organize meetings as appropriate in support of the school's aims.
  28. Set high expectations for your own performance and that of others.
  29. Engage in relevant professional development activity, as necessary.
  30. Quality assure summative assessments and ensure results are entered accurately and reliably.
  31. Ensure students' progress is measured against UAE curriculum standards.
  32. Ensure students' attainment is measured against external, national, and international benchmarking to improve teaching and learning (CPAA / MAP).
  33. Use data analysis to monitor students' progress and to identify gaps in learning.
  34. Identify underachieving students who should be targeted for intervention and support.
  35. Manage the day-to-day activities of the delegated areas of responsibility to ensure the school meets statutory requirements in a highly effective and efficient manner.
  36. Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the principal.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

You must be a fully qualified teacher with:

  1. Passionate and caring educators.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Education or a bachelor's degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  3. 6 years' experience, including 4 consecutive years teaching performance exceeds standards and expectations as evidenced by Performance Appraisal.
  4. Experience of the American curriculum.
  5. A commitment to an extensive enrichment program.
