The position / About the Job:

Owns the Alfa Laval's awareness-to-lead-to-order process. Local point of contact in the global community for CRM-related topics and local ambassador of Alfa Laval's data quality efforts. Ensures that all customer data is activated in the most relevant ways to craft commercial strategies with the goal of increasing business generation. Champions and supports Alfa Laval's ways to market and segmentation efforts. Leads and drives customer experience efforts and ensures that this is anchored into the Cluster strategy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Generally, and as Cluster Excellence Area (EA) manager:

  1. Local strategy and roadmap for responsible topics.
  2. Represent local needs in global communities.
  3. Ensuring that all divisions are prioritized and in focus according to strategy.
  4. Collaborating with other marketing team members to secure local agenda and strategy.
  5. Engage division's management teams on related topics.
  6. Challenging mindset and transformational lead in commercial excellence area.
  7. Responsible for securing the related results in each division in the Cluster.

Specifically, as Commercial Excellence manager, and at a cluster level:

  1. Plan and execute commercial support activities based on marketing plan priorities.
  2. Responsible for engaging local organization on the key CRM processes (lead, opportunity, contact and account mgmt.)
  3. Collects and prioritizes local CRM needs to support the Lead-to-Cash IT development.
  4. Collects and prioritizes local needs in terms of data visualization.
  5. Ensure the continuous progress on our data quality journey according to local and global requirements.
  6. Translates customer and commercial data into insights to support decision making and support the sales company Transformation.
  7. Local champion for the Customer Experience process, ensuring the customer feedback process runs smoothly and the data generated is translated into local strategic initiatives to improve customer experience.
  8. Champion supporting our segmentation efforts and ensuring local progress.
  9. Leader for all Commercial Excellence related priorities and activities: design, activation and follow through.
  10. Contributor to Commercial Excellence cluster and/or global initiatives.

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Good knowledge of IT ecosystem (CRM, ERPs etc.)
  2. Ability to translate data into actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
  3. Proactive personality and excellent communication skills.
  4. Advanced in stakeholder management.
  5. Advanced general business knowledge:
  • Marketing and sales connected to the customer journey.
  • Funnel management.
  • Customer experience management.
  • Account and contacts management.
  • Customer segmentation.
