Key Result Areas:

  • Optimize DIA warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory management, minimizing excess or obsolete inventory, and enhancing space utilization for efficient material flow.
  • Enhance fleet operations at DIA by ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and operationally efficient, reducing downtime and maximizing productivity.

  • Lead project groups effectively by implementing business procedures and policies, ensuring organizational changes are achieved according to strategic goals and timelines.
  • Maximize resource utilization by analyzing production and resource data, identifying under-utilized resources, and implementing corrective measures, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
  • Drive financial efficiency by managing business process waste and balancing costs in store activities (ordering, clearing, holding, and distribution), aligning with profitability goals.
  • Ensure seamless operations by planning for the integration of connected departments, aligning them with supply chain activities to enhance workflow and reduce delays.

Education Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (Must have)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Project Management Professional (Preferred)
  • Master's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business Administration (Added advantage).

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or fulfilment management, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse and distribution operations across multiple sites.
  • Experience in inventory management, fleet operations, and logistics optimization.
  • Familiarity with implementing technological advancements in supply chain systems, such as automation and fleet management tools.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders like procurement, finance, and operations.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in logistics optimization, cost management, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and other supply chain technologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and performance metrics (KPIs) to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, OHS standards, and compliance requirements within a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial performance, with a focus on cost control and profitability.
  • Agile and adaptable, with the ability to manage risks and respond to economic or market challenges.
