Culture and Employee Engagement:

Lead initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture that aligns with company values.

Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback mechanisms to understand and improve the employee experience.

Performance Management:

Oversee the design and implementation of the performance management system, ensuring it supports continuous feedback, goal setting, and employee development.

Lead the performance review process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and individual development plans.

Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing action plans for improvement.

Talent Management and Development:

Manage the end-to-end talent lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development and succession planning.

Implement learning and development programs to upskill employees and support career progression.

Identify high-potential employees and provide opportunities for leadership development and growth.

Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and resolving grievances.

Ensure that HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and understood across the organization.

Provide counsel to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including disciplinary actions and legal compliance.

HR Policy and Compliance:

Ensure all HR activities comply with local labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency in their application.

Monitor compliance with HR policies and address any violations or inconsistencies.

Ensure that all visa and PR processes align with relevant immigration and labor laws, as well as company policies, to maintain full compliance.

Regularly audit the department's records and procedures to ensure adherence to legal requirements and standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

Work with leadership to design incentive programs that recognize and reward high performance.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits administration.

Payroll Processing:

Accurately calculate, process, and distribute employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions on a regular schedule.

Manage various pay types, including hourly, salaried, and contract employees.

Oversee time and attendance tracking, verifying accuracy in timesheets or clock-ins to ensure correct payment for hours worked.

Monitor overtime and leave balances, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

Use HR metrics and analytics to assess workforce trends, including turnover, engagement, and performance data.

Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and strategy development.

Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance HR processes.

Change Management:

Lead HR-related change management initiatives, including organizational development and cultural transformation projects.

Communicate and implement change in a way that fosters employee buy-in and minimizes resistance.

Support employees and managers through periods of change with training, communication, and guidance.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with leadership, department heads, and employees to build strong relationships across the organization.

Act as an advisor to management on HR strategies and employee engagement practices.

Liaise with external stakeholders, including labor consultants, recruitment agencies, and legal advisors, as needed.

Occupational and Workplace Health and Safety Responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduces new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security Responsibilities:
  • Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
  • Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
  • Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information has taken the Security Awareness Training
  • Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
  • Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
  • Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
  • Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or any related field (essential).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in human resources, talent management, organizational development, or a similar field.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws, ensuring compliance and best practices in HR operations.
  • Experience in identifying talent needs, designing training and development programs, and facilitating leadership development initiatives.
  • Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to managers and employees, fostering their growth and enhancing their leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), performance management systems, and other HR-related software and tools.
  • Proficient in using data analytics tools to track and measure HR effectiveness.
  • Strong ability to negotiate with external vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding HR services and initiatives.
  • High level of emotional intelligence to understand and manage personal emotions and those of others, facilitating better workplace relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, respond to unexpected challenges, and pivot strategies as necessary.
