What is FoX-i?

FoX-i is a boutique fintech company active in the Foreign Exchange sector. We develop systematic trading strategies which we deliver through customized trading algorithms to the financial industry like Proprietary Trading Firms, Hedge Funds and Family Offices. The quantitative trading systems are created based on technical analysis and we apply a wide range of techniques to assess markets, including the study of repetitive chart-patterns, mathematical calculations to determine the speed and momentum of a move, as well as statistical tools to identify extreme conditions. A natural progression is to extend these ideas into fully automated trading systems. FoX-i offers its clients the opportunity to participate and profit from above mentioned trading-capacities and expertise.

The Role:

  1. Responsible for finding new institutional investors and selling FoX-i to them as part of their investment portfolio, including hedge funds, banks, family offices, etc.
  2. Define strategic sales plans by balancing focus between direct accounts and channels (indirect), building new key relationships with senior management and CXO level with relevant prospects and partners (hunting), as well as negotiating and closing business deals, whilst maintaining and continuously driving existing client and partner relationships (farming).
  3. Identify potential business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, strengths/weaknesses, as well as the risks and constraints to the company and drafting appropriate sales strategies for such opportunities.
  4. Manage all aspects of the sales process, from visioning, prospecting to closure and account management.
  5. Work closely with the rest of FoX-i's team to identify the right activities to drive business development and strategic efforts.
  6. Help build and subsequently manage a team of senior and junior sales executives and help them achieve their goals.
  7. Develop revenue budgets with C-Level and regular reporting on sales forecast against budget/actual.
  8. Stay on top of the regulatory and industry changes and competitive landscape (industry and geographically).
  9. This role carries managerial and individual contributor responsibilities. KPIs may depend on overall team targets as well as an individual sales quota.

What we need to see from you:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or similar field.
  2. 5+ years of relevant career experience in FinTech, Finance Business Development / Investor Sales.
  3. Key understanding of market and audience in the landscape of institutional investors.
  4. Experience in selling to and building relationships with CXO level of large companies.
  5. Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages advantageous.
  6. Able to work flexibly with regards to activities and hours in a role that will involve national (and potentially international) travels.
