Job Description
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve export targets and expand market presence in key regions.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients and distributors to enhance brand visibility and sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in target markets.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with international clients, ensuring compliance with export regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any shipping issues.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, product demonstrations, and marketing materials tailored to international clients.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on sales forecasts and market developments.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences to network, gather leads, and promote the company's products on a global scale.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of export regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements to minimize risk and enhance efficiency.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff on export sales processes, international market dynamics, and customer relationship management.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in export sales or international business, preferably in the food industry or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful export strategies in diverse markets.
  • Certifications in export compliance or international trade regulations are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with cross-cultural teams and understanding of global market dynamics is essential.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic or Hindi is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and develop data-driven sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing international business environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building lasting client relationships.
