Senior Presales Consultant – Cybersecurity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, qualification and security assessment workshops with enterprise and public-sector customers.

• Design end-to-end cybersecurity architectures covering Identity, Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, XDR, Email Security, SIEM/SOAR, SOC Modernisation, Data Security, DLP, Cloud Security and Network Security.

• Design Microsoft Security solutions including Microsoft Entra ID, Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, Intune and Defender for Cloud.

• Develop Zero Trust architectures covering MFA, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Governance and Secure Access.

• Architect EDR/XDR solutions, endpoint security, vulnerability management and security hardening.

• Design email and collaboration security solutions including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Mimecast and other security platforms.

• Design SIEM, SOAR and SOC Modernisation solutions, including Microsoft Sentinel and third-party SIEM/SOAR platforms.

• Develop data security and DLP architectures using Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint and related technologies.

• Design cloud security solutions including CSPM, CNAPP, CASB and SSPM across Azure, AWS and GCP.

• Design network security, NGFW, SD-WAN, segmentation and SASE solutions.

• Develop integration architectures between endpoint, identity, email, network, cloud and SIEM/XDR platforms.

• Conduct product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), pilots and technical workshops.

• Prepare RFP/RFI/tender responses, technical proposals, compliance matrices, solution designs and architecture diagrams.

• Prepare Statements of Work, Bills of Materials (BoMs), licensing models and high-level implementation estimates.

• Develop TCO, ROI and security consolidation business cases.

• Work with account managers to qualify opportunities, develop solution strategies and support sales closure.

• Coordinate with technology vendors and partners on solution design, demonstrations, certifications and co-selling activities.

• Support smooth handover of successful projects to delivery and SOC teams.

• Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity trends, vendor roadmaps, competitive solutions and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 6+ years in presales, solution architecture or cybersecurity consulting.

• Strong customer-facing experience with enterprise and/or public-sector organizations.

• Proven experience designing and winning cybersecurity solutions across at least three of the following areas:

  • Identity & Zero Trust

  • Endpoint Security / EDR / XDR

  • SIEM / SOAR / SOC Modernisation

  • Data Security / DLP

  • Cloud Security / CSPM / CNAPP / CASB

  • Email Security

  • Network Security / SASE

• Strong hands-on or architecture-level knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies.

• Experience with at least two major security vendors such as Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Security, Forcepoint or Mimecast.

• Experience with SIEM migration, SOC transformation and/or MDR solutions.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture, integrations, APIs, Syslog/CEF and security telemetry.

• Experience preparing technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, BoMs and commercial models.

• UAE cybersecurity market experience is required, with knowledge of UAE IA/NESA, DESC and relevant sector regulations.
