JobOverview 

TheStakeholder Manager will be responsibleforidentifying andmanaging relationships with key stakeholders associated with therail project during the Design & Build (D&B) phase.This role involves developing and implementing a stakeholdermanagement plan ensuring stakeholders have visibility and inputinto the project andmaintainingalignment with projectobjectives. TheStakeholder Manager will engage with government bodies localauthorities environment agencies local interest groups and otherstakeholders to ensure their needs and concerns areaddressed. 

RolesandResponsibilities: 

  • Identifykey stakeholders including clients government bodies localauthorities environment agencies local interest groups and otherrelevantparties. 

    • Developand implement a stakeholder management plan ensuring regularengagement and communication withstakeholders. 

      • Identifyand mitigate stakeholderrelated risks providing advice on potentialopportunities andthreats. 

        • Provideregular progress reports to the client and internal stakeholdershighlighting any stakeholderrelated risks andopportunities. 

          • Workclosely with the required departments to ensure compliance with anylegal financial and corporateprotocols. 

            • Driveprogression via stakeholder meetings ensuring all stakeholderconcerns and requirements areaddressed. 

Qualificationsand EducationalRequirements: 

  • Bachelorsdegree in a relevant field such as Business Administration PublicRelations or Communications. AMasters degree ispreferred. 

    • Professionalcertifications in stakeholder management or equivalent are highlydesirable. 

KnowledgeandExperience: 

  • 10years of experience in stakeholder management preferably in theconstruction or infrastructuresector. 

    • Indepthknowledge of stakeholder management principles public relations andindustrystandards. 

      • Strongnegotiation communication and interpersonal skills. Ability tomanage multiple stakeholderseffectively. 

        • Priorexperience within a transportation or arail project involving multiple contractors would befavourable.

  • AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with theability toidentify andmitigate stakeholderrelatedrisks. 

    • Attentionto Detail: Highlevel of attention to detail ensuringaccuracy in stakeholdermanagement.
