  • Assess and analyze Item EquivalencyEvaluation results on alternate replacement items for obsoleteplant components and parts to validate proposedreplacements.
  • Monitor and verify cost savingsby using technical expertise to identify technically equivalentalternate procurement strategies.
  • Recommendresolution of technical discrepancies identified during materialreceipt inspection to ensure operationalexcellence.
  • Provide critical characteristicsand technical criteria to Quality Assurance (QA) Division tosupport supplier evaluations and commercial gradesurveys.
  • Lead and provide technical expertiseduring vendor audits and surveillances to meet qualitystandards.
  • Lead the identification anddisposition of counterfeit, fraudulent, and suspect items to ensurequality.
  • Recommend resolution of bidevaluations and supplier deviations identified during contractprocurement phase to minimize supplier risk and reducecosts.
  • Lead plant walk-downs to identify plantcomponents and obtain information needed to support accurateprocurement.
  • Assess stocking level requirementsto ensure availability of materials wheneverrequired.
