JobDuties

  • Leads thedelivery (time cost quality) of assignedpackage.
  • Supervise the contractors to ensurethe works are constructed as per specification and to establishedmilestone dates.
  • Manage and direct thesupervision team to undertake day to day inspections of theworks.
  • Maintain a very high level of Safetyawareness and ensure the contractor complies with hisobligations. 
  • Capable of administeringthe FIDIC based contract
  • Resolves site issues 
  • Presents progress and package issuesto client team.  
  • Discusschanges to the scope of work with the Client and keysubcontractors.
  • Responsible for following up oninstructions & commitments associated with theproject
  • Establishes Project Execution PlanHealth & Safety Plan Quality Control Plan and otherdocuments in relation to our scope
  • Establishesthe program requirements for all areas of the project and monitorssite staff performance
  • Plans directs supervisesand controls the execution of all technical fiscal andadministrative functions of the project and the siteteam
  • Assigns responsibility to key subordinatesin their respective fields ofexpertise
  • Provides input to performance reviewsand develop plans for subordinates
  • Work withother managers project engineers and discipline Heads to developbudgets schedules and plans for the various elements of theproject
  • Monitors and reports to management onthe progress of all project activities within the program includingsignificant milestones and any conditions which would affectproject cost schedule performance or Clientrelation
  • Establishes internal weekly meetingsto review project status and formulate actionitems
  • Performs other responsibilitiesassociated with this position as may beappropriate
  • Represent the company in Clientmeetings.
  • Monitor Health and Safety of theconstruction works and lead to addressviolations

SpecificSkills Required

HighRiseResidential and Commercial buildings experience required withstrong background in startup execution and handover of majorprojects within the UAE specificallyDubai.

Qualifications:

Qualification

BachelorDegree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil MechanicalElectrical Structural etc.) and PMP plus membership of a recognizedprofessional institutionpreferred

Experience

  • Minimum1520 years of related senior construction supervision/managementexperience on Building and Construction or Infrastructure projectsplus 5 years in a senior related technical position with a broadgeneral engineeringbackground.
