ResidentEngineer (Bridge) SiteOperations
Responsibilities:
- Actas the Resident Engineer onsite providing technical leadership andensuring all aspects of the project are completed in accordancewith project plans specifications and safetystandards.
- Oversee the contractors bridgedesign team to ensure timely progress quality and alignment withproject requirements.
- Coordinate closely withAtkinsRalis internal design team to ensure designs are accuratelyimplemented and address any designrelated issuesonsite.
- Monitor and supervise all constructionactivities related to the bridge and infrastructure work ensuringadherence to quality safety and compliancestandards.
- Ensure that all work complies withlocal regulations standards and the requirements set forth by ADauthorities.
- Manage daily site operationsensuring project milestones are met on time and withinbudget.
- Develop review and maintaincomprehensive site documentation including progress reports qualitycontrol documentation and safetyrecords.
- Enforce strict quality assurance andcontrol measures to maintain the highest standards of constructiononsite.
- Manage site safety protocols ensuringthat all safety measures are observed and reporting any safetyconcerns promptly.
- Provide regular updates tothe client (Aldar) and project stakeholders on project progressrisks and issues.
- Proactively identify andresolve potential problems or delays providing technical solutionsand corrective actions as needed.
- Manage theflow of information between the contractor client and design teamsensuring all parties arewellinformed.
Qualifications:
- Aminimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering with a focusonbridge.
- Significantexperience in managing largescale infrastructure projectsparticularly bridges with an emphasis on Sitesupervision.
- Proven experienceas a Resident Engineer with a strong track record of overseeingsite operations and managing contractors.
- Solidunderstanding of bridge design processes construction methodologiesand site management.
- Experience in managing andcoordinating the contractors design team ensuring progress andquality of deliverables.
- Familiarity with localregulations and requirements from AD authorities (AbuDhabi).
- Strong background in construction sitesupervision risk management quality control and safetycompliance.
- Excellent leadership communicationand interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challengingcontractor relationships effectively.
- Must haveworked on bridgeprojects.
