  • Maintainingvarious records and weekly forecast/log sheets for internalcustomer and management review and regularupdates.
  • Preparing plans for the purchase ofequipment services and supplies.
  • Following andenforcing the companys procurement policies andprocedures.
  • Reviewing comparing and analysingproducts and services to be purchased.
  • Managinginventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricingrecords.
  • Maintaining and updating supplierinformation such as qualifications delivery times product rangesetc.
  • Keep detailed records of transactions foreasily accessible database of what has been purchased from whomcontact information and particulars regarding costs and deliveries.Also make notes in files about specific suppliers such as ones thatare good at fulfilling rush orders and ones that have previouslymade errors in their shipments.
  • Getting a goodprice for items in the quantity desired delivered in a satisfactorytime frame. Also discuss needs with vendors to work out appropriatearrangements.
  • Inspect the quality of theshipments received. In case of problems contact the sender toinquire about the delay or to fix the order to bring it up to parwith expectations. Also keeping track of stock on hand in order tomake requests to replenish when inventory islow.
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensureclarity of the specifications and expectations of theCustomer.
  • Ensure smooth flow of the logisticactivities by identifying the potentialweakness/obstacles.
  • Track order acknowledgmentprepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports and providesvisibility of potential interruptions tocustomers.
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chainoperations until products or services are delivered toCustomer.
  • Clear the shipments and avail dutyexemption FANR TRA and ESMA approval for Oil & GasCompanies.
  • Work with team members andProcurement & Logistics Manager to complete duties asneeded

Qualifications:

  • Diploma /Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics andcommunication/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management / Engineering ora RelatedField.
