AtkinsRalis seeks askilled GIS Developer to develop and implement innovativegeospatial solutions. Requires expertise in GIS and softwaredevelopment with the ability to design develop and maintain complexGIS applications. Fullstack developer with knowledge of GIStechnologies programming languages and software developmentlifecycle.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Developand maintain GIS applications to support businessrequirements.
  • Integrate GIS data into varioussystems and platforms.
  • Write clean efficientand maintainable code.
  • Perform proper testingand debugging to ensure applicationquality.
  • Collaborate with GIS analysts and teammembers to deliver successful projects.
  • Stayupdated with the latest GIS and software developmenttechnologies.
  • Utilize game engines for 3Dmodeling augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR)applications.
  • Integrate Revit BIM and ESRIGeoBIM for building information modeling and geospatialintegration.
  • Configure and managevirtualization environments to optimize GIS systemperformance.
  • Handle raster vector and realtimegeospatial data ensuring seamless integration andprocessing.
  • Demonstrate expertise incuttingedge GIS technologies including Smart Cities Digital TwinsIndoor GIS and Geospatial Intelligence.
  • Provideassistance in developing projectdocumentation.

RequiredQualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in computer science GIS or a relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience insoftware development.
  • Proven experience as afullstack developer.
  • Proficiency in JavaScriptReact and Angular for frontenddevelopment.
  • Proficiency in Python and ArcPyfor backend development and GISscripting.
  • Experience with ESRI experiencebuilder.
  • Strong understanding of the softwaredevelopment lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience withautomated testing processes.
  • Knowledge ofvarious system testing types (e.g. user acceptance testing stresstesting high availability testing).
  • Proficiencyin GeoJSON HTML and CSS.
  • Experience withsoftware integration.
  • Experience utilizing gameengines for 3Dmodeling.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Mastersdegree in computer science or GIS.
  • Experiencewith cloudbased development platforms (e.g. AWS AzureGCP).
  • Knowledge of additional programminglanguages (e.g. Java JupiterC#).
