What You WillDo

  • StrategySupport: By assisting the Director of Revenue Management withessential administrative duties and fulfil reporting and analysistasks, it will ensure that the RM strategies as defined by the teamcan be executed in an efficient and pro-active manner. Providingcontingency along with the Reservations Manager in the event ofabsence is also an element in the delivery of strategyobjectives.
  • Closely monitor competitive pricingand understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on propertyperformance. Perform competitor checks and report asappropriate.
  • Assist the DORM in identifyingsoft periods and developing promotions andstrategies.
  • Support the DORM in effectiveimplementation of Four Seasons Revenue Management Standards,Policies & Procedures. (Rate Plans, Rate Categories, MarketSegmentation, Profiles, and all other PMS/ORS related RMfunctionality.)
  • Action Rate Solicitations asdirected and maintain rate plans.
  • Ensure thehotel has Best Rate Guarantee compliance, and work with the DORM tominimize/eliminate rate parity claims against thehotel.
  • Assist the DORM with daily updates ofthe Revenue Management Reports and ensure all data input into thesystem is accurate. (Geo Source, Product Quality, Pricing).Opportunity to assist with all aspects of budgetpreparation.
  • Assist in the preparation ofdayfully updated Forecasts. Work with the DORM to prepare longer termforecasts and achieve hotel forecast accuracygoals.
  • Participate in the property’sweekly Strategy Meeting and contribute to the Daily OperationsMeeting.
  • Review and analyze data on an ongoingand end of month basis. Provide monthly reports on production,trends, booking and stay patterns as well as channel analysis.Evaluation of the distribution channel performance and potentialreasons for this performance.
  • Analyzecompetitive reports and formulate appropriate suggestions forstrategies through use of STR Reports.
  • Dailycommunication with our Reservations and Front Office and Sales teamto share best practices.

  • Toreport for duty punctually wearing professional attire. To maintaina high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere tothe hotel and department personal appearancestandards.
  • To comply with local legislation asrequired.
  • To maintain good workingrelationships with your colleagues and all other departmentsthrough working by The Golden Rule.
  • To respondto any changes in the division as dictated by the needs of theindustry, company or hotel.
  • To be flexible andextend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties andresponsibilities within the job capability as assigned, includingredeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meetbusiness demands and guest serviceneeds.
  • Conduct and attend training sessions asoutlined.
  • Perform other tasks or projects asassigned by the Director of Revenue and Regional Director ofMarketing.

  • Proficient in English(speaking, reading, writing)
