  • Develop implement and monitorcompliance policies and procedures in line with UAE Financial Rulesand Regulations.
  • Oversee AntiMoney Laundering(AML) and CounterTerrorism Financing (CTF) frameworks ensuringadherence to international best practices.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments to identifyassess and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Prepareand submit regulatory compliance reports and filings maintainingaccuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead auditsinspections and reviews to evaluate the organizations compliancewith financial crime risk management policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide training oncompliance protocols financial crime prevention and regulatoryupdates.
  • Investigate and report suspiciousactivities in alignment with UAEs regulatory guidelines.
  • Serve as the organizations Money Laundering ReportingOfficer (MLRO) managing escalations and regulatorycommunications.

Required Skills andQualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Translation Studies or arelated field. Additional certifications in regulatory complianceor financial crime risk are highly valued.

Certifications:

  • Combating Financial Crimes
  • Certified Risk Management Specialist in TargetedFinancial Sanctions (CRMSTFS)
  • Lean Six SigmaBlack Belt (LSSBB)
  • Certified ComplianceProfessional (CCP)
  • CAMS Certification(Certified AntiMoney Laundering Specialist)
  • UAE Financial Rules and Regulations expertise

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years in compliancefinancial crime risk management or related fields including seniorroles in regulatory compliance and AML.

Languages:

  • Proficient in English and Arabic (native orbilingual proficiency). French language skills are anadvantage.

TechnicalSkills:

  • Expertise incompliance reporting policy development due diligence andregulatory frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communicationproblemsolving attention to detail and the ability to navigatecomplex regulatory frameworks.

PreferredExperience:

  • Priorroles in leading financial institutions or compliance departmentssuch as MLRO or Senior Compliance Officer.
  • Experience working with UAEbased organizations includingexposure to SCA regulations and UAEspecific financiallaws
