We are seeking aHotel / Resort Manager or GeneralManager in a resort our one client in AlAin.The General Hotel/ResortManager or GeneralManager will be responsible for overseeingthe daytoday operations of the hotel or resort ensuring the higheststandards of guest satisfaction operational efficiency andprofitability. This leadership role requires excellentorganizational financial and management skills as well as a deepunderstanding of hospitality industry standards and practices. TheHotel/Resort Manager will collaborate with department heads staffand external partners to maintain the property s reputation forexcellence ensure smooth operations and drive longterm businesssuccess.

Responsibilities:

1.OperationalManagement:
  • Overseedaily hotel or resort operations ensuring high standards of qualityand service across all departments (front office housekeeping foodand beverage maintenanceetc..
  • Monitor all operations toensure guest satisfaction is met service quality standards aremaintained and operational targets areachieved.
  • Coordinate with departmentheads to ensure smooth operations and efficiency in all areas ofthe hotel/resort.
  • Develop andimplement operational policies and procedures that align with thebrand s standards and the expectations ofguests.
2. StaffLeadership andDevelopment:
  • Leadmotivate and manage a team of department heads and staff promotingteamwork guest service excellence and a positive workculture.
  • Conduct regular performanceevaluations provide constructive feedback and address anyemployeerelated issues to foster a highperformingteam.
  • Implement ongoing stafftraining programs and professional development opportunities toenhance service delivery and operationalefficiency.
  • Ensure adequate staffinglevels and manage recruitment onboarding and employee retentionefforts for all hotel/resortpositions.
3.FinancialManagement:
  • Developand manage the hotel or resort budget ensuring financial targetsand profitability goals are met orexceeded.
  • Oversee revenue managementstrategies including pricing booking systems and promotions tomaximize revenue generation and occupancyrates.
  • Monitor and controloperational costs ensuring expenses are within budget and resourcesare utilized efficiently.
  • Preparefinancial reports analyze performance metrics and take correctiveaction when necessary to improve financialperformance.
  • Ensure timely andaccurate billing invoicing and payment collectionprocesses.
4.Guest Experience &Satisfaction:
  • Ensurethat all guest interactions are handled professionally courteouslyand efficiently to deliver exceptional guestservice.
  • Address guest complaintsand concerns in a timely and professional manner ensuring customersatisfaction and loyalty.
  • Overseequality control of guest accommodation amenities and services toensure consistently positive guestexperiences.
  • Implement guestsatisfaction surveys and utilize feedback to continuously improveservice and operationalstandards.
  • Promote an atmosphere ofluxury and personalized service ensuring that guests feel valuedand well taken care of during theirstay.
5.Marketing &Sales:
  • Collaboratewith the sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel or resortthrough targeted marketing campaigns partnerships and brandinitiatives.
  • Work closely with salesteams to identify new revenue opportunities special packages andpromotional offers that attract new guests and retain existingones.
  • Develop and implementstrategies to enhance online presence reputation management andreviews on travel platforms (TripAdvisor Bookingetc..
  • Foster relationships withlocal businesses travel agencies and corporate clients to enhanceoccupancy rates and brandrecognition.
6.Property Maintenance &Safety:
  • Ensurethe property is maintained to the highest standards of cleanlinesssafety and upkeep including all rooms public areas andfacilities.
  • Work closely with themaintenance and housekeeping departments to address any repairsissues or special requestspromptly.
  • Ensure compliance withlocal health and safety regulations and industry standardsincluding fire safety emergency protocols and environmentalsustainability.
  • Oversee riskmanagement practices including insurance and security to protectthe property guests andstaff.
7.Strategic Planning &Reporting:
  • Collaboratewith senior leadership and ownership to set longterm goals definestrategies for growth and implement action plans for businessdevelopment.
  • Analyze market trendscompetitor activities and guest feedback to adapt continuously andenhance the property sofferings.
  • Prepare and presentdetailed reports on hotel performance guest satisfaction financialperformance and operational goals to senior management orownership.
  • Ensure the property ispositioned as a market leader in terms of service reputation andprofitability.
Qualifications:
Education&Experience:
  • ABachelor s degree in Hospitality Management Business Administrationor a related field (Master s degreepreferred).
  • Minimum of35 years of experience in hotel/resortmanagement with at least 23 years in a seniorleadership position (e.g. Assistant Manager OperationsManager orsimilar).
  • Experiencemanaging a hotel or resort with multiple departments(front office food & beverage housekeeping maintenanceetc..
  • Proven track record of drivingrevenue growth improving guest satisfaction and managing a teameffectively.
  • Knowledge ofhospitality industry standards best practicesand localregulations.
