JobSummary:

Responsible foroverseeing all technical aspects of water and wastewater treatmentprojects from tendering/proposal development through to detailedengineering design and support during site execution. The roleinvolves managing a team of engineers coordinating with clientsconsultants and vendors and ensuring project deliverables meettechnical standards and timelines. This position demands strongtechnical expertise leadership and project management skills with asolid foundation in process engineering and detailed engineeringfor water and wastewater treatment systems. Experience in EPCprojects shall be considered as addedadvantage.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Reviewand interpret project specifications/tender documents drawings andrequirements to prepare comprehensive Technocommercial bids alongwith cost estimation for water and wastewater treatment projectsincludes EPC projects in coordination with EPC ProposalTeam.
  2. Develop preliminary process designsperform basic calculations at the tenderingstage.
  3. Collaborate with the sales and businessdevelopment team to understand client needs and align proposalstrategy and present technical proposals to clients addressingqueries and modifications as needed.
  4. Lead thedevelopment of process design including PFD P&ID runprojections mass and energy balance and equipment sizing for waterand wastewater treatment systems e.g. desalination BWROultrafiltration STP ETP Dialysis ROetc).
  5. Ensure detailed engineering documentssuch as drawings specifications and material submittals meet clientrequirements industry standards and regulatoryguidelines.
  6. Coordinate with multidisciplinaryteams including mechanical electrical civil and instrumentationengineers to ensure cohesive and integrated projectdesigns.
  7. Oversee the project execution phaseensuring projects are implemented according to the design scheduleand quality standards.
  8. Support site teams byresolving technical queries troubleshooting processrelated issuesand ensuring design modifications are effectivelycommunicated.
  9. Perform site visits for projectassessments installation verifications and qualityinspections.
  10. Liaise with subcontractors vendorsand other third parties to ensure timely and accurate completion ofproject deliverables.
  11. Provide onsite technicalguidance for process startup commissioning and performancetesting.
  12. Ensure compliance with industrystandards regulatory requirements and safety protocols for allengineering activities.
  13. Develop documentationsuch as operation & maintenance manuals and process controldocumentation.
  14. Serve as the main point ofcontact for technical inquiries from clients consultants andregulatoryauthorities.

Qualifications:

  • BachelorsDegree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineer or relevant. Relevantexperience in Water & Wastewater Technologysector.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years experiencewith the majority spent working in refining petrochemicals or oil& gas industries.
  • Relevant softwareknowledge for Engineering SOW for Water &Wasterwater
