KeyResponsibilities

  • Effectively organize and allocatemanpower and equipments to enable expediting of Inbound andOutbound orders as per priorities, supervise picking, packing,organising VAS activities (wherever applicable) and put-awayoperations, allocate resources for optimum utilization; suggest andimplement processes to improve warehouseeffectiveness.
  • Check inbound container sealsare checked and physically verified with the documents. Anydiscrepancies to be notified to the LC and Supervisor immediately.In case of any damage to the cargo, photographs to be taken and MDNneeds to be prepared Follow-up with the concerned until the problemis resolved.
  • Utilize available locationseffectively and check whether storage is done as per instruction soas to enable quick and timely retrieval thereby resulting inefficient picking operations for outboundshipments.
  • Ensure that all manual put-away andpicking lists are rechecked for right quantities, dimensions andproducts and that all documents arefiled.
  • Monitor packing processes for outboundshipments, compliance to country and customer specifications andnecessary certifications and stickers are attached to enable timelydelivery of goods to the customer. Also take pictures of theoutbound shipments (whereverapplicable).
  • Support in the preparation ofnecessary reports on all inbound and outbound operations inaccordance with customer requirements and as instructed by theWarehouse Supervisor or LogisticsCoordinator.
  • Assist stock control team to Carryout regular stock checks, cycle counts and location checks toachieve stock integrity
  • Report any QHSE(Quality, Health, and Safety & Environment)-relatedincidents to the Supervisor immediately. Submit initial incidentreport to the Supervisor before the end of theshift.
  • Ensure good house-keeping standards aremaintained at all times by engaging the team to follow the CLEAN ASYOU GO policies.
  • Monitor and ensure accounthandling as per SOPs to comply with the processes thereby achievingKPIs
  • Ensure that there is sufficient stock ofpackaging materials at all times.
  • Ensure thatall MHE are in working condition by maintaining a daily check-listwhich should be filled in by the Warehouse Operators before thestart of each shift. Any damage to the MHE should be immediatelyreported to the Supervisor.

Job Skills,Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience inwarehousing & distribution operations out of which 1 yearin similar position
  • ComputerLiterate
  • Diploma or Graduate in anydiscipline
