  • Apply expertise to the design ofelectronics products, advancing the capabilities of thedepartment.
  • Ensuring that Design to Cost,Design for Manufacture and Design for Test best practices arefollowed.
  • Maintaining an awareness of currentindustry trends and maintaining relationships with suppliers tomake best use of emergingtechnologies
  • Experience in schematic captureand layout design of multi-layer complexPCBs

  • In depthexperience in the Micro Controller / Processor based electronicsdesign is a primary requirement. Strong basics on electronics baseddesign is highly desirable.

  • Need to develop new product andsustain engineering support new production development andsustaining activities of existing products as subject matterexpert.
  • Having design simulation experience isa plus
  • Working knowledge of overall designengineering processes encompassing "Design - Development -Testing - Product Launch" isrequired.
  • Provide manufacturability perspectivefor early concepts and help validate through building appropriatedesigns. Assist with building prototypes that help in proof ofconcept and work with all different stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering –Electrical /Electronics/Instrumentation
  • Minimum 3 to 5years of experience in core domain as PCB Layoutdesigner
Desired candidate profile
  • Must have experience Schematic design alongwith PCB Design using CAD Tools like CADSTAR, Altium or similartools
  • Exposure to SPICE simulation analysis forcircuitry
  • Good collaboration and communicationto interact with cross functional teams
  • Workingwith design engineer to understand therequirement.
  • Understanding qualifyingcertification aspects of the product and apply the same on thedesign.
  • Bring in best practice from other partsof the company and from outside the company to avoid unnecessarylearning cycles.
  • Schematic capture and PCBlayout design experience
  • Strong analytical andlogical thinking
