JobOverview:

We are seeking apassionate and qualified Science Teacher to joina reputable educational institution in Al AinUAE. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to teachscience disciplines: Biology Chemistry Physicsto grades 6 to grades 9 inspiring students to appreciateand excel in the field of science. As the recruitment partner forthis role we aim to place a teacher who is dedicated to fosteringan engaging learningenvironment.

QualificationsandExperience:
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Science Education or a related field (e.g. BiologyChemistry Physics).
    • A recognizedteaching qualification / certification / Teaching Diploma (e.g.PGCE QTS or equivalent).
    • ADEKAppointment letter is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimumof 3 years of experience teaching Grade 6 to Grade 9 students inschool settings.
    • Experience teachingall sciencesubject(s).
    • Previousexperience teaching in the UAE or GCC region is aplus.
  • Skills:
    • Strongunderstanding of science curriculum and educationalstandards.
    • Proficiency in usingdigital tools for teaching (e.g. interactive whiteboards onlinelearning platforms).
    • Ability tofoster student engagement and enthusiasm forlearning.
    • Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills.
    • Strongorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple taskseffectively.
KeyResponsibilities:

  • LessonPlanning andInstruction:

    • Planprepare and deliver engaging science lessons that align with theschool curriculum.
    • Teachscience subject e.g. Biology Chemistry Physicsto grade 6 to grade 9students.
    • Incorporate interactiveand innovative teaching methods such as practical experiments groupdiscussions and technologyenhanced learningtools.

  • StudentAssessment and ProgressMonitoring:

    • Regularlyassess and track student performance through assignments quizzesprojects and exams.
    • Provide timelyand constructive feedback to students identifying areas forimprovement.
    • Maintain accuraterecords of student progress and conduct parentteacher meetings asrequired.

  • ClassroomManagement:

    • Fostera positive and respectful classroom environment conducive tolearning.
    • Enforce school policiesregarding behaviour management ensuring students follow classroomrules and guidelines.
    • Create a safeand engaging space for practical and theoreticallearning.

  • CurriculumDevelopment andInnovation:

    • Collaboratewith fellow science teachers to contribute to curriculumdevelopment and improvements.
    • Stayupdated on the latest trends and advancements in science educationto incorporate into lessonplanning.

  • StudentSupport:

    • Offeradditional support to students who need help understandingchallenging concepts.
    • Encouragestudent participation in sciencerelated extracurricular activitiessuch as science clubs fairs andcompetitions.

  • CollaborationandCommunication:

    • Workeffectively with other teaching staff to ensure the smooth deliveryof lessons.
    • Communicate regularlywith parents regarding their child s academic performance andbehaviour.
    • Participate in staffmeetings professional development and schoolevents.
