The role requires a hands-on approach to managing cross-functional teams and ensuring operational excellence during this transformative phase.What you'll do:Lead the entire process of relocating the current warehouse, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.Establish and optimize processes in the new warehouse facility, ensuring efficiency in layout design, material handling, storage systems, and inventory management.Oversee all logistics and supply chain planning for the greenfield plant and warehouse, ensuring alignment with global standards.Design and implement comprehensive logistics strategies for the new plant, including inbound and outbound logistics, material flow, and supplier coordination.Conduct due diligence to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, environmental standards, and industry certifications.Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions during the plant and warehouse establishment phases.Ensure all logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations are aligned with global best practices and industry standards.Collaborate with senior leadership, finance, production, and external partners to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.Provide regular updates and reports to executive management on project status, key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehousing, logistics, and distribution including packaging to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.In conjunction with Global Procurement & Operations team provides thorough Global standardised monthly transportation metrics based on service, savings and economics.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
