The FP&AManager will be heavily geared towards the financial planning andstrategic support to the business, in terms of delivering stronganalytical-based commentaries and reports, to determine bothperformance metrics, business development support and anycompetitive/market analysis.

This role will also focus towards corecommercial finance; whereby the analysis of supply chains anddistribution models are assessed on an on-going basis and withinthe parameters of cost management, revenue optimisation andpartnership agreements.

Theclient will look to recruit a professionally qualified accountingand finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) whom is able todeliver a demonstrable track record, within a mainstream corporateFP&A function, with a focus to complex and multi-tieredbusiness lines across regional/international markets. Thesuccessful candidate shall be required to present 8 to 10 years ofpost-qualified experience, along with a strong knowledge of bothUAE and GCC markets, along with the considerations-of an FMCGand/or supply chain operator.

Applicants shall be required to possess advancedExcel capabilities, to deliver both financial analysis andmodelling, whilst also having exposure to supporting senior andbroad ranging reporting lines within finance, operations and thesales-related front-end. The corporate cultural will require anenergetic, pragmatic and diligent attitude; to allow for bothdepartmental and corporate target attainment.

Desired candidate profile

1. Financial Forecasting &Budgeting

  • BudgetCreation & Management: Overseeing thecreation of annual budgets for departments or the entireorganization, ensuring that resources are allocated effectivelyacross variousfunctions.
  • FinancialForecasting: Analyzing historical financial data andmarket trends to forecast future financial performance and adjuststrategies accordingly. This includes predicting revenue, expenses,and cash flow.
  • ScenarioAnalysis: Developing various financial scenarios toevaluate how different variables (e.g., changes in marketconditions or company performance) may impact financialoutcomes.
  • BudgetTracking: Monitoring the performance of actualfinancial results against the budget, identifying variances, andproviding explanations and recommendations to addressdiscrepancies.

2.Financial Planning &Strategy

  • Long-TermFinancial Planning: Developing long-term financialplans that align with the company's strategic goals,ensuring the financial resources required for growth, capitalinvestments, and other major initiatives areavailable.
  • Strategic FinancialGuidance: Partnering with senior leadership toprovide strategic financial advice, helping to shape companystrategy by identifying areas of financial opportunity orconcern.
  • CapitalAllocation: Ensuring effective capital allocationfor the organization's initiatives, makingrecommendations on where to invest or cut back onspending.

3. FinancialAnalysis &Reporting

  • DataAnalysis: Using financial data to provide insightsand recommendations for business decisions, identifying key trends,opportunities, and risks in the organization's financialperformance.
  • VarianceAnalysis: Analyzing differences between forecastedand actual results, providing insights into performance andrecommending corrective actions ifnecessary.
  • FinancialReporting: Preparing detailed financial reports andpresenting them to senior management, ensuring stakeholdersunderstand financial performance andimplications.
