Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, engineering,and production teams to develop innovative and functional packagingsolutions that enhance product appeal and align with brandidentity.
  • Conduct market research to identifytrends, consumer preferences, and competitive packaging strategies.Analyze data to inform packaging decisions andstrategies.
  • Manage the timeline, budget, andresources for packaging projects. Ensure that deadlines are met andcosts are controlled while maintaining high-qualitystandards.
  • Ensure that packaging meets allregulatory standards and quality requirements, includingdurability, safety, and environmentalimpact.
  • Work with suppliers to sourcematerials, negotiate contracts, and maintain supply chainefficiency. Establish strong relationships with key suppliers toensure timely and cost-effective delivery of packagingmaterials.
  • Balance cost considerations withquality and functionality to provide cost-effective packagingsolutions without compromising onstandards.
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales,product development, and supply chain teams to ensure packagingaligns with overall business goals and productstrategies.
  • Stay updated on industryregulations and standards to ensure packaging complies with legalrequirements. Monitor changes in regulations and adjust packagingstrategies accordingly.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in productmanagement within the food packagingindustry.
  • Proven track record of managingpackaging projects from concept tocompletion.
  • Excellent project management skillswith the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
  • Proficiency in projectmanagement software andtools.
  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Industrial Design, Business, or a related field.Master's degreepreferred.
