Roles and responsibilities
  • Collaborate with theDirector of Strategic Communications, Marketing and StudentRecruitment to highlight partnership successes, enhance theUniversity's profile, and promote its brand acrossacademic and industry platforms.
  • Lead effortsto establish, build and maintain relationships with academic andindustry partners. Create strategic approach to participating inlocal, regional, and global events.
  • Develop andimplement a comprehensive strategy to establish and enhancestrategic partnerships with major donors, corporations, andfoundations, ensuring alignment with the University'sacademic and strategic goals.
  • Developinitiatives that effectively communicate AjmanUniversity's academic strengths and research capabilitiesto partners, enhancing visibility and reputation in internationalhigher education.
  • Serve as the primary contact,from communication perspectives, with global ranking organizations(e.g., QS, THE) to strengthen relationships and aligncommunications with ranking performancemetrics.
  • Collaborate strategically with theDirector of Advancement and Alumni Affairs to maximize fundraisingpotential and align efforts with the University's keyinitiatives, such as scholarships, research, and capitalprojects.
  • Align communication efforts withfundraising goals, such as creating content for donor outreach, andphilanthropic events, while ensuring alignment with theUniversity's strategicobjectives.
  • Oversee segmented stewardship planstailored for corporate partners, foundations, and individualdonors, ensuring long-term engagement andsupport.
  • Coordinate with the Office ofAdvancement and Alumni Affairs to develop communication materialsthat highlight the impact of donor contributions and recognizephilanthropic support, including reports and newsletters, as partof the university's broader communicationplan.
  • Provide thought leadership by identifyingemerging trends and benchmarking against global best practices toposition the University as a leader in strategicpartnerships.
  • Support the positioning of theChancellor as a global thought leader in higher educationregionally and globally.
  • Work closely withfaculty, deans, and directors to identify and package partnershipopportunities that align with academic and industryneeds.
  • Establish and track performance metricsto evaluate the impact of partnership initiatives and prepareregular reports for the Chancellor.
