Contracts Manager

Responsible for overseeing and managing alltransactional activities and contractual relationships within theCompany as well as ensuring that contracts and agreements aredrafted negotiated executed and performed in alignment with theCompanys policies and legal requirements. This role involves asolid understanding of contractual needs mitigating risksassociated with contracts and ensuring compliance withregulations.

  1. ContractReview &Negotiation:
    • Review assessanalyze and validate contracts with vendors suppliers and serviceproviders ensuring favorable terms within the approved procompanychecklists and predefinedrequirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teamsto ensure contracts align with business needs and compliancestandards including the Group Code of ConductPolicy.
    • Negotiate contract terms to mitigaterisks and ensure favorable outcomes for thecompany.
  2. ContractCompliance &Monitoring:
    • Validate legal andcontractual capacity of vendors suppliers and service providersthrough comprehensive and methodological KYC / Due Diligencesystem. Obtain and manage all information and official documents ofsuppliers e.g. commercial license TRN regulatory approvalsetc. 
    • Conduct compliance checks in thetheme of international sanctions lists denied parties andrestricted parties.  
    • Befamiliar with relevant legislation and regulatory compliancestandards in UAE (such as Personal Data Protection Cyberlaws goAMLCRSetc.) 
  3. ContractRisk Management:
    • Identify andmitigate risks associated with contracts and procurement processesensuring the company is protected against legal financial andoperational risks.
    • Develop and implementstrategies for managing contract disputes or issues that may arisewith vendors or suppliers.
    • Ensure contractsadhere to industry regulations company policies and any applicablelegalrequirements.
  4. ContractRenewal &Amendments:
    • Oversee the processfor contract renewals extensions and amendments ensuring timely andaccurate updates to terms andconditions.
    • Evaluate ongoing contracts forpotential optimization renegotiation or termination in line withthe companys strategicgoals.
  5. CostControl & BudgetManagement:
    • Work closely withprocurement and finance teams to ensure contracts are aligned withbudgetary constraints and costefficiencygoals.
    • Identify opportunities for costsavingimprovements in contracts and procurement processes withoutcompromising quality orcompliance.
  6. StakeholderCollaboration &Communication:
    • Act as the primarypoint of contact for all contractrelated matters collaborating withinternal teams such as procurement finance and operations to aligncontract management strategies with businessobjectives.
    • Provide clear and effectivecommunication on contract performance compliance status and keyissues to senior management andstakeholders.
  7. ContractDocumentation & RecordKeeping:
    • Ensure all contractdocuments are accurately stored and readily accessible for auditingand compliance purposes.
    • Maintain a thoroughrecord of contracts amendments and correspondence to ensure a clearaudittrail.
  8. ProcurementProcess Oversight:
    • Collaboratewith procurement teams to ensure that contracts align withprocurement strategies and organizationalneeds.
    • Ensure all vendor agreements comply withestablished procurement processes ensuring consistency andtransparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors inrelevant industry topic
  • CPSM or similarcertification

Experience:

  • Experiencein ERP
  • 7 years in Contract Management with atleast 4 in enterprise solutionsbusiness.
  • Experience in a likeforlike Systemintegrator.
