In this role youwill:

  • Facilitate key ceremonies such as PIplanning and Review, and play a consultative role to help put inplace the appropriate people, process, and tools supporting theAgile framework and coaching members of the team as needed tooptimize the efficiency of the Release Trainteam.
  • Act as a Champion in blending traditionalproject management principles and practices with an Agiledevelopment approach in the right proportions to fit initiatives ofall sizes with the appropriate level of planning and provide theright balance of agility and predictability based on PMI-ACPprinciples.
  • Build a trusting and safeenvironment where problems can be raised without fear of blame orretribution, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.Protect and provide all support to the team/s using a servantleadership style whenever possible and lead by example. Facilitategetting the work done practicing servant leadership and encouragediscussion, decision making and conflictresolution.
  • Drive Quality and ensure theDefinition of Done (DOD) is being followed, ensures each teammember is fully engaged in the stories and making a meaningfulcontribution. Encourage a sustainable pace adhering to the agreedquality management plan with the team. Maintain an agile projectmanagement tool (e.g. ScrumDesk, JIRA,etc.).
  • Assist in team development throughholding teams accountable for their commitments, removingroadblocks to their work, leveraging cross functional team skillsto improve product backlog throughput, and mentoring and developingteam members. Attend regular stand-ups and scrum of scrums, inorder to understand the team's progress and issues, and toflag up to the team, where necessary, any important external issuesof which they need to be aware.
  • Support theTechnical Product Manager in managing business expectations andtransparency in both product backlog and schedule for allinitiatives.
  • Define and manage a well-definedprocess and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives toimplement best practices for Agile Delivery Management. Implementan agile governance with key ceremonies, drives continuousimprovement with constant assessments of velocity (team story pointthroughput), defect percentage improvementsetc.
  • Assist with the cost estimation / sizingexercise for both near term and future initiatives and assists withpreparing total cost of ownership with the productteam.
  • Together with the Product team, supportsthe RFx phases in the procurement process and the scheduling ofsuch activities in relation to the product lifecycle.

Qualifications& Experience: To be considered for this role, you must meetthe below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours in Computer Scienceor similar subject.
  • Certification: CertifiedSAFe and PMI ACP (additional certifications such as PMI, Prince 2,CSM desirable) with 5+ years of practical application of the ScrumManagement discipline.
  • 8+ Years of workingexperience in Information Technology (Relevant experienceincluding: Proven leadership and project delivery experience in amatrix organisation with global teams for a largeorganisation).
  • Experience in agile deliverywithin the context of a large technology changeprogrammes.
  • Experience driving Request forTenders (RFT) from initiation to completion, encompassing allintermediary processes
  • Well-versed in the useof tools of software delivery e.g. ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICEsuite, JIRA, Confluence etc
  • Good architecturalknowledge of large-scale systems.
  • Ability toeffectively communicate specialist information in an understandableformat to all stakeholders.
  • Excellentcommunication skills, focusing on core scrum values of openness,honesty and respect.
  • Hands-on leader withstrong people skills.
