Job Summary:We are seeking dedicated and passionate Senior FEA Engineer to join our team in Dubai; who engages in training and consulting activities to simulate complex mechanical engineering problems for customers using Ansys software products.
Key Responsibilities:Your role will focus on addressing complex challenges through effective problem-solving. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Deliver high-quality introductory, advanced, and customized training online or onsite to the customers in the region.
- Experience in designing customized training workshops and materials addressing client requirements using Ansys Structures Portfolio.
- Develop example projects, proof of concepts based on the customer use cases and deliver workshop/training.
- Apply advanced-level engineering expertise and knowledge of simulation techniques to provide highest level technical support to customers.
- Conduct meetings with customers to understand the requirements and scope of work for FEA.
- Creating & reviewing Technical proposals, time and cost estimation, resource planning, report writing and review, executing the projects, and delivering the results on time.
- On an as-needed basis, support team for conducting Ansys software demonstrations, and providing technical support to customers on Ansys software.
- Need to demonstrate an ability to pick up new concepts and technologies quickly. Self-learning will be critical to accomplish this skill.
- Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
- Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Required minimum years of professional experience in FEA: MS+8, or PhD+4.
- Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in delivering training on Finite Element Analysis using Ansys tools.
- Expert-level knowledge of linear, non-linear structural mechanics, explicit dynamics, linear dynamics, and multi-physics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency.
- Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed.
- Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification or process improvement experience is preferable.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Practical work experience in design, physical test, product development is an advantage.
- Knowledge of industrial codes and standards is an advantage.
