Therole:
This is a new Business Development Managerrole that is part of the sales team based in our Dubai office thatis responsible for selling to Consumer Goods space across theMiddle East region with a major focus on KSA andUAE.
You will be responsible for targeting aplethora of FMCG companies across your territory. You will be ahighly selfmotivated sales professional preferably with a proventrack record of business development and have experience inconsultative/B2B sales.
Youll need to have thetenacity drive commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find theright contact understand the clients issues and match/apply thebenefits of your solution. You will often need to involve severalstakeholders both internally in different locations and externallyacross multiple departments of the target organisations. Strongnetworking and organisational skills as well as an understanding ofclient purchasing dynamics are a must. Youll also need to have theability to be a quick learner to onboard our sales formula anddemonstrate strong sales process andstrategies.
This role is office based in theheart of Media City with travel as required to meet clients acrossyour market.
Whatyoull be doing:- Managing the entiresales process involved with selling syndicated webbased planningtools and custom research solutions to new clients (e.g.prospecting territory management meeting scheduling productdemonstrations multistakeholder business case development contractnegotiation and more)
- Take ownership of yourperformance and personal development by linking it to your goalsidentifying obstacles and developing strategies to overcomethem.
- Taking ownership of your personal salestargets; your own forecasting and account planning includingresearching a strong prospect list and a sales plan on how to reachsales targets as well as ensuring implementation of theplan.
- Demonstrating effectiveness byconsistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly quarterly and yearlyKPI & revenue targets.
- Identifyinginfluencers and decision makers at target organisations andensuring that you understand their roles and objectives as well asthe benefits and applications of using GlobalDatas data &market research solutions.
- Increasing yourproductivity by actively leveraging GlobalDatas training programssupportive managers and diverse set of ablepeers.
What we look for:
- Bachelors degreerequired; MBA is valued.
- Minimum of 34 years ofproven experience in business development sales or a related fieldwith a strong track record of meeting or exceeding salestargets.
- Demonstrated ability to proactivelyidentify and pursue new business opportunities with a strategicapproach to lead generation and clientacquisition.
- Possess strong presentation skillscapable of engaging Clevel executives with a solutionfocusedapproach confidence and a competitiveedge.
- Highly driven selfmotivated with anentrepreneurial mindset and the ability to simplify complexsolutions while maintaining high personalstandards.
- Fluency in both Arabic and Englisharedesirable.
