Roles and responsibilities
  • Manage the SPO Process andpolicy, from needs detection to execution of sourcing requirements,at local, regional, country, and cross continentlevels.
  • Anticipate and understand the businessneeds, to provide the right Procurement strategy with optimalrequirements.
  • Lead sourcing, suppliers duediligence, negotiations, risk assessments, and other bestpractices, using Coupa (ERP) and othertools.
  • Conduct market research and evaluateSuppliers manufacturing capabilities to enhance/develop GPOSuppliers base, for current and futureneeds.
  • Deliver projects (RFI, RFQ, etc) withdifferent spend thresholds / complexity / risks / confidentiality /and time constraints. Analyze solutions and make recommendations tothe Business.
  • Execute and support GPO projectsand initiatives (tenders, cost optimizations, sustainability,process improvements etc.) of different scales and magnitudes.Additionally, support the critical yearly peak readiness (e.g.capturing and documenting Lesson Learned and Successes, creatingpre-peak readiness presentations, and executing playbookactions).

InternalPartnership

  • Be the face of Procurement foroperations on site, and build effective businesspartnering.
  • Proactively partner with (i) SiteLeadership (ii) other GPO teams such as Category or Global SupplierManagement (iii) key partner functions such as Finance orLegal.
  • Where appropriate lead MBR and QBR withmain internal and external stakeholders (GM, Change, RME, Vendors).Additionally, bring your expertise to key supplier meetings, orinternal processes such as GEMBAs and Daily DeepDives.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) toadd value to procurement local categories and processes. Identifyand leverage savings opportunities, perform spend analysis, andsupport strategy definition for the country network. Deliveradditional monetary value by using diverse cost/revenue managementleverages (operational savings, revenue generation, warrants, longterm contracts). Have the ability to extend SME responsibilities todifferent scales, including EMEA level.
  • Be anambassador of the internal Spending & Transaction and GPOpolicies. Educate and drive correct behaviors from BusinessPartners towards those rules and bestpractices.
  • Provide functional skills trainings,including to other GPO members.

Systems/Tools

  • Utilize various applications andsystems to provide reliable reporting and data (ERP, Quicksight,PowerBI, etc) including Supplier performancemetrics.
  • Use and enhance the available tools toanalyze and leverage opportunities and risks on spends, categories,vendors, legal, and other aspects
Desired candidate profile
  • Deliver contracts from A to Z mastering CLM(Contract Life Management) and drive contract compliance fromSuppliers.
  • Create, negotiate, and executecontractual agreements such as Work Orders and thorough SupplyAgreements.
  • Manage supplier performance whererequired as per relevant supplier performancegovernance
  • Ensure the highest levels ofservices provided based on quality, maintenance, costs,sustainability, lead times, and other keyelements.
  • Lead and support MBR/QBR whererequired this includes being the voice of our Suppliers and bymaking sure the payment process is running smoothly, they have thesupport needed, and take corrective and preventive measures ifneeded.

BasicQualifications

Bachelor'sDegree with Procurement or Supply Chain or significant Procurementexperience,

  • Relevantexperience in a Procurementenvironment,
  • Proficient computer literacy in MSoffice suite,
  • Qualifications and/or experiencein sourcing, contract management, or equivalentrole,
  • Negotiation skills (internal andexternal)
  • Contract managementskills
  • Highly proficient in spoken and writtenEnglish

PreferredQualifications

  • Degree with Procurement or SupplyChain focus,
  • Experience working in a large,global, highly matrixed organization.
  • If noProcurement-related degree (or on top of it), CIPS/EIPMaccreditation or equivalent functional knowledge oraccreditation.
  • Experience of ERP(SAP/Coupa)
  • Able to manage multiple complex andsimultaneous projects requiring frequent communication,organization, time management, analysis methodology, andproblem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in alarge, global, highly matrixedorganization.
  • Highly self-motivated andcustomer-centric.
  • Able to manage the supplierrelationship
  • Able to demonstrateproblem-solving and analytical competence, with the ability toidentify complex issues, develop & deliversolutions.
  • Able to effectively managestakeholders across multiple business functions, sites, regions,and business units.
  • Clear communicator, writer,able to run meetings and present in front of anaudience
