Amazons UAE Immigration Teamis growing its bestinclass professional service to deliverexceptional immigration support to Amazon businesses employees andcandidates across the MENA region. The team of project managersanalysts and experienced immigration subject matter experts act asstrategic partners and consultants to Amazon business leaders andpartner teams. The team centrally manages immigration filings andthe vendors that support Amazon and delivers projects to improvethe cost quality and compliance for immigration services at Amazon.

We are seeking a UAE Immigration Associate tosupport the needs of our growing UAE immigration team based inDubai. In this role you will be responsible for the coordinationand execution of the UAE immigration services. The team execute ahighvolume of cases managing immigration requirements for sponsoredemployees across different jurisdiction (mainland or freezoneentities) and their family members. The team manage and coordinatethe end to end applications with employees candidates stakeholdersMinistry of Labor freezone and Immigration authorities.
The UAE Immigration Associate is part of the UAEimmigration case working team this is a case working support roleand acts as a coordinator within the case working team coordinatingthe workload and providing support across all daily caseoperations.

Key job responsibilities
  • Filing and executing immigrationcases coordinating between Immigration Specialists and PROsTypingand executing a high caseload of applications. A typical caseloadwould be 45 of mixed application types from new renewal cancelationand amendment of work permit and residency visas; each filingincludes subapplications related to work permit entry permitmedical test Emirates ID and residency visa stamping for eachapplicant.
  • Plan and keep track of all tasksrequired as part of an immigration process(case)
  • Participate on a weekly casework reviewmeeting to examine the progress of all cases against standardturnaroundtimes and key metrics.
  • Maintaining upto date case trackers and master employeesdatabase
  • Coordinate the collection of documentsand draft application materials including forms and letters forreview and signature by the requiredstakeholders
  • Support Immigration Specialists inall queries and immigration relatedrequests
  • Coordinate with colleagues forsubmission of applications collection of documents post approvaland liaison with government officials
  • Maintainexcellent understanding of UAE immigration regulations and policiesand communicate timely updates to colleagues applicants andbusiness stakeholders
  • Knowledge of UAEimmigration laws and handson experience preparing immigrationapplications Ability to identify process defects makerecommendations for process improvements and implement processimprovements
  • Knowledge of UAE employmentlaws
