  • Estimate type and quantity ofmaterials and equipment required to complete project and ordermaterials, if needed.
  • May train as well asoversee the work of others who ist in completing aproject.
  • Maintain records of work activitiesand materials used.
  • Maintain records and writereports.
  • Respond to public inquiries in acourteous manner; provide information within the area of ignment;resolve complaints in an efficient and timelymanner.
  • Estimate time, materials and equipmentrequired for jobs igned; requisition materials asrequired.
  • Perform related duties andresponsibilities as required.
  • The ability toclean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organizeddepartment.
  • The ability to respond to all guestcomplaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public areain a timely manner.
  • The ability to ist inproviding preventive maintenance of all TV/AV equipment inguestrooms and public areas and updating of appropriatelogs
  • The ability to repair an ortment of itemsbrought to the shop by other departments.
  • Theability to ist shift engineers on major shut downs forrepairs.
  • The ability to maintain logs for allwork performed while on duty within department and those in otherdepartments as they apply to EngineeringRepairs.
  • The ability to ist in installing orrelocating any additional or existing equipment whennecessary.
  • The ability to respond to workorders or room inspection reports submitted by DepartmentHeads.
  • The ability to respond to all emergencyconditions such as fires, power failures,etc.
  • The ability to ensure a clean, neat andorganized work area.
  • The ability to report anydamages observed within the Resort area, whether it be guestroom,public areas or any employee housing units through the Engineeringreporting systems in place. Reporting to be done within one hour ofdiscovery.
  • The ability to perform other tasksor projects as igned by hotel management andstaff.
